hi i am trying to figure out what is better console or pc gaming

if i buy a gaming pc i will have a total(with windows 8.1) of $1200 to spend

but if i go with console gaming i will be able to buy some pretty good games

There is no better or worse.
It all depends on what you want.
I use PC as i only game for about 25% of the time, rest is for downloads, films, series, voip etc.
So one box that does it all works for me.
If you just want to sit on a sofa and play then console is for you.
Also are your friends playing games? Are they on PC/Console? Pick something compatible so you can play together.

No point going in to graphics between the 2 as with PC the more you spend the better graphics you get and starting from mid range it will be better than console.

i have been a console gamer my whole life and i kinda want to try something different but idk if http://pcpartpicker.com/p/PRLD7P that pc build will work just as good as a console will and i want to get the most out of the game too
