Hi

Im thinking of buying parts for a gaming pc soon and I have a base budget of $1200.
So far I have selected parts so that I can continually keep upgrading it.

Can you guys look over it and give suggestions or any problems with it

Intel Core i7-4790K Unlocked Quad-Core, 4.0GHz (4.4GHz Turbo), 8MB Cache, LGA 1150 -$405
MSI Z97 Gaming 5 ATX Motherboard, LGA1150 – $219
Corsair DDR3 4GB (1x Vengeance 4GB) 1600MHz CL9 – $55
Seagate Barracuda 3TB 7200RPM 64MB 3.5 – $128
Cooler Master HAF XM 922 Case- $140
Thermaltake Toughpower XT 875W – $169
Pioneer DVR-221LBK Black 24X DVDRW OEM – SATA with Cyberlink DVD Suit CD – $35

Grand total of $1150 - Please note prices are in AUD

In the future I plan to have 16gb of ram and 2 GTX 770 in an SLI configuration so that was my main reason for including a 875w ps

Also im not very good at eletrical stuff but I am thinking of building it myself .
How hard is it and would I be able to do it?

Thanks

Where are you that the 4790k is $405?
Also you don't need that expensive motherboard. Asus z97-a.
Also you need a cpu cooler.
Also you need some thermal paste.
Also you should get 2x4GB ram for now.
Wait where's your gpu?
Also you need a gpu.

More RAM in a dual channel kit

2 x4 gig , 1600 Mhz , 1.5 volts or less

A better brand of power supply , 80+ bronze or better . Seasonic are the best

Id spend 130 - $150 on a mb , and include a 128 gig SSD , probably a samgung 840 evo , as a boot drive
