Hi
I am looking for a graphics card being able to run medium-ultra settings in most games 1080p, no need for anti aliasing.
I will possibly be doing recording of the games(especially in the shooters since i feel like i get too many unfair deaths - trying to find the mistake)
I will also possibly when its cheaper - be upgrading to 1440p or 2160p.

The r9 280 rolls in at 1495 DKK - to convert this to dollers i usually multiply with 0,15.
The GTX 760 rolls in at about 1625-50dkk range. The same method as above.

So the r9 280 has more ram, performs possibly better, but i heard about drivers messing up on amd side. Will this bother me in games like:
BF series
Crysis series
Skyrim
Minecraft
Planetside 2
CS GO
GMod
Civ5
MOHW
Simcity
Skyrim - heavily modded
and games like those? I do play some simulator games, but not as often.

What will be better for games like this? - Geforce experience and shadowplay could be used for recording, but will be a little bit more expensive, and i already know another program recording(dno how good it is though).

I am setting this as a poll - What would be better - 760 or r9 280

Please leave an answer too, backing up your choice. Also - you are welcome to ask anything i did not include.

An update - about me upgrading to a higher res monitor - it will still be without AA, and for 4k i will probably upgrade the card anyway or run the monitor at something lower than native res in game.

R9 280 may be better for 1440p. At 1080p, the GTX 760 and R9 280 is equal when both are overclocked. Unfortunately you won't get to use shadow play with the R9 280 and resort to other recording programs.
4k gaming is still to early.

Yes shadowplay is a good program to use for recording if you use it. For 1080p 2GB is still fine but of course 3GB is better.
For 1440p or higher, perhaps a GTX 770 or R9 280X or any higher end cards are better.

Suztera, but is it worth the 25 dollars/150 dkk more to get the 760? I think a dealbreaker will also be how large the video file is, as i dont watch the things i record instantly.

T3pshooter, i live in denmark, and i already have the best 280 price for this time in the country. Thanks for the answer though!
