Hi all,

I am just about to paint a few parts on MSI Z97 gaming 9 into green, but only the red parts on the heat sinks and also the logo + red side trims. Nothing really going to be on the board or connector itself.
I would like to know what kind of print I am supposed to use.
I saw posts about other boards but didn’t see a clear solution of it.
Ideally, am I looking for non-conductive, heat dissipated paints?

Ideally you should leave it alone... :)

But outside of that, second-best would be paint as you describe - thinly....

Seriously, I would never put anything on a heatsink that may interfere with cooling. Painting the logo - doesn't seem that that will matter one way or the other, as long as nothing makes an unwanted electrical connection.

Thx for your reply.
I understand the potential threat of messing the heat sink
Since my temp in case and all parts are good, I will give it a try.
Or try to get a custom heat sink if possible, but that will be another story.
