Hello tech geeks

I am new to the forum and on PC gaming

I look forward to building my very 1st gaming PC, I enjoy reading the articles here and I love doing the research on components. I find the whole process exciting.

From what I have gathered the best value for price processor and GPU are the Intel core i5 6590k and the XFX radeon r9 290 respectively

So I will start from there although I am open for alternative suggestions.

My target is to be able to play 1080p games at around 60 fps and not having to upgrade for another 2-3 years at least.

Aside from doing my own research, I would like to hear what you guys recommend for the remaining hardwares like the motherboard, case, RAM, PSU etc.

Also, would you guys recommend installing Win 8.1 or something else?

Thanks in advance for helping me out and for taking the time to read my thread :)

@badboyrog2

so long as it fits the criteria which is run 1080p games with all the little details, 60 fps and not having to upgrade for another 2-3 years

Also anything which you guys think is worth the money. In other words, best bang for the buck.
