gtx 760 sli vs gtx 780

I already have a gtx 760 and i want to increase my computers performance, which would be faster and overall better, getting a 2nd gtx 760 (price wise i'd prefer to do this) or sell my gtx 760 and get a gtx 780?

Or i could wait for a gtx 860/870/880

What model of 760 do you have, 2gb or 4gb?
If its 2GB you will be limited by vram before you run out of graphics horsepower. Dual cards also wont scale as well compared to one.

The biggest question is how satisfied are you with the current performance? If its good enough I would consider waiting, if its not a single card would probably be the best approach. But if you want the budget alternative SLI can help.

It's the 2gb model. The current performance i'm getting is good enough with the games that are out now, when do you think the 800 series will be released?

Thats fairly up in the air. But the majority is within the next year.
