ghosts minimizing windows 8

Good day to you all. I have a problem with ghosts MP on Pc. I start the game , but it keeps minimizing in the task bar. The thing is that i can hear the music from the game but i see my desktop and if i try to maximise it it wont let me. Can you help me please ??? Thank you.

i had that issue with black ops 2, i cant remember how i fixed it tho. are you using the bing desktop that automatically changes backgrounds? i think that may have been the problem in my case

I have only one monitor. Hdmi cable. Optimised game with nvidia geforce experience. It worked before but i didnt do anything . It just ....worked

i used to have the "games minimizing to taskbar" issue way back when i had my windows xp single core system.

while the trigger could be multiple things (poorly coded game, background tasks or poor system specs) it looks like cod ghosts is a poorly coded game and that you arent the only one with an issue.

if that isnt the issue and if you bought it on steam then perhaps that is the culprit and needs some settings tweaked.

if it was a windows issue or driver issue you would typically have more trouble than just with one game.
