290x Monitor Black Border Problem

So I got a new Asus VN247 1080p monitor today, and there is always this black border around my screen. Setting the scaling option under catalyst center only decreases the border size, but its still clearly there. Does anyone know how to fix this? I am running windows 8.1 64bit, latest beta driver.

ok, never mind, my bad, that remaining black border is a physical part of my screen...
