What do you guys think about 200mm radiator water coolers? Do you think they're a good or bad idea? Are they/would they be superior to 120mm, 140mm, 240mm, and/or 280mm radiator water coolers?

Question: Do 200mm radiator water coolers exist right now? If so some links would be greatly appreciated.

200mm radiators would be hard to sell, very few cases have a spot for that especially if you are thinking a single 200mm fan on the radiator. A 200mm radiator should perform similarly to a 280mm radiator, it would have similar surface area so it becomes just a question of fans and pumping force, but the longer runs through the radiator may lead to an increase in required pumping force.

120mm and 240mm are the most common since almost any case can accommodate a 120mm radiator and a large number can support a 240mm radiator, the 140mm and 280mm are less common, as are 140mm fans to mount on them.

Are 200mm fan slots really that uncommon? My Cooler Master Enforcer case combines 120mm, 240mm, and 200mm case fan support. I'm guessing other companies are trying to do the same since it's such an advantage in case fan compatibility.

Its only really feasible on the side panel for most cases. The Cooler Master Enforcer can only pull it off because it is 9 inches wide(rare), most cases are 7.5-8.5 inches, a 200mm fan is minimum 7.8 inches wide which won't fit in the vast majority of cases out there except on the side panel.

Oh, I thought most mid-tower cases fit 200mm case fans where radiators could be.

Nope, most only fit 140mm fans at the most, but by far the most common size is 120mm. Take a look at the closed loop liquid coolers, the vast majority are 120mm rads, of the corsair line only the H90 is a 140mm based radiator, all the rest are based around 120mm fans on the rad.

Its only the really fat mid towers and the big full towers that have space for a 200mm fan, though a lot of the big full towers are still only 140mm fans, most cases don't even come with a good place to mount a rad, its just not common enough to be worth it for many yet. Good way to tell what is common, see what there are a lot of models of. Newegg carries 410 120mm case fans, 169 140mm case fans, but only 51 200mm case fans.

Although it isn't a good marketing option and companies probably won't manufacture them anytime soon, would it be good in terms of performance? (a question for modding)
