So here's my current hardware setup

Asus P5KE Deluxe Mobo
Intel Core i7 Proc
16GB Ram
LG SATA Blu-Ray Player
Corsair RM850 Power Supply
OCX 512GB SSD
Windows 7 Pro 64bit
ATI FireGL Graphics Adapter
1 Dell UltraSharp 2405FPW Monitor (1920x1200)
2 HP Compaq LA2306x 23" Monitor (1920x1080)

The Dell and 1 HP are plugged into the 2 DVI ports on the graphics adapter, the 2nd HP is plugged into a Sabrent USB-DH88 USB-DVI Adapter

The Dell is my primary monitor.

So I want to replace the FireGL with an "Asus R9 DC2OC-4GD5"

When I plug in my R9 into the P5KE, my system will not power up. The motherboard has the Green LED's when power is supplied to it, as does the R9 when I plug in the 2 power connectors. (They are red until the power is plugged in, then they turn green.)

Also, want to run both HP's off the 2 DVI connectors and my Dell off the DisplayPort adapter. I have a DisplayPort to DVI adapter.

Been searching on the web for a few hours now trying to find if the P5KE mobo supports the R9 290x graphics adapter or if the RM850 isn't enough power for it. The R9 recommends a 600W PSU and I am not running anything in my system that uses a lot of power.

Can anyone point me to the right answer please?

Thanks.
Zee.
