Which Build Should I Go With?

I am trying to decide which of these two builds are the best for high spec gaming, such as playing BF4, Tera, Warframe, etc.

both builts are good but first one is much better as it contains fx-6350 processor. actually now most of modern games and also upcoming games like "cod advance warfare(nov-2014 release)" they need multicore processors so 6-core will much better than 4-core. one more thing make sure your amd r7 260x gpu should be of MSI (it is available in 3 models MSI, asus and saphire) MSI is best as it contains advance cooling system even after overclocking.

I recommend first one with abit modifications.
Well M5A99X is an overkill if no OC. Get an A97 mobo save some money and get a better gpu.

What would be the difference in changing it to an MSI?

as i mentioned msi have much better cooling system as compared to other models although asus has two fans mounted but it get heated quickly. i have used both personaly this is my personal experience
