So I have an Anteck Kuhler 620 in my pc right now, as it is its pretty ugly but gives good temps. I saw a build where someone turned his closed loop H60 into a nice custom loop system. I really want to do this because it looks fun and "cheap". I dont mind too much if the temps dont improve by a subsantial value. Thanks all

As long as you have enough pump to move the coolant it's not that big a deal to open a aio kit. Most have aluminum rads so you have to use a anti corrosive in the coolant.

I do not suggest you do that as the pump is not designed to handle an increased flow restriction load, it is all tuned to work together and the pump is adequate for it's present load, but not for additional load, plus you completely void your warranty.

^ Correct and very much agree with Ry, here. Pump 'capability and ability' would be my main concerns. Those pumps are typically quite weak and offer very low flow and head pressure.
