Specs so far:
CPU: Intel i7 4930K Ivy Bridge-E 6-Core3.4 GHz LGA 2011
CPU Cooler: ?
GPU: Dual NVIDIA GTX 780 TI's
PSU: 1000w (I think)
Motherboard: ?
Tower: ?
Storage: ?
Water Cooling Unit: ?

So i need a bit of help completing this build. I plan to spend somewhere between $2,500 and $3,000. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

To start, what are you doing? The GTX Ti's are a pretty huge waste of money, and unless you are doing some SERIOUS file processing and crap, I really don't think you need it.

I suppose you may be right. I'll be doing: editing, rendering, gaming and a lot of graphic design. Maybe just the regular 780's?

Hi I will just tell you what I did you chose what you like.
I tried water cooling but intel chips run hot what is your goal? I opted for phase change cooling
running multiple GPU's I am using the Corsair ax1200i it is a little pricey but works great to power multiple GPU's
I chose the Asus Rampage iv black edition motherboard very good for overclocking
I chose the Azza Hurrican 2000/2000r tower very good cooling air azzatek.com/csaz-2000.html
I like SSD for storage went with Samsung 1TB 840 evo series http://www.samsung.com/global/business/semiconductor/minisite/SSD/us/html/why/samsungSSD1TB.html?gclid=CIjs59r6x78CFRAV7AodzR4AYw
I must say at least run water to cool your cpu look at frozencpu.com they have a lot to chose from

There is some stuff to look at good luck happy building

Hi set your budget and run what you like I am running 3 Evga Geforce gtx 780ti's in sli and love it I think my budget was a little higher than yours but it is your machine make it sing if you want have fun with it

All that will run pretty far over his budget.

Here's my idea:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

Motherboard: ASRock X79 Extreme6 ATX LGA2011 Motherboard ($214.99 @ Newegg)
Memory: Crucial Ballistix Sport 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($139.99 @ Micro Center)
Memory: Crucial Ballistix Sport 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($139.99 @ Micro Center)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($54.98 @ OutletPC)
Video Card: MSI GeForce GTX 780 Ti 3GB TWIN FROZR Video Card ($629.99 @ Amazon)
Case: Corsair 750D ATX Full Tower Case ($119.99 @ Newegg)
Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA 1300 G2 1300W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply ($159.99 @ NCIX US)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 Pro (OEM) (64-bit) ($129.98 @ OutletPC)
Total: $2264.05
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

The high end power supply there will allow for you to get another 780 Ti for a Crossfire later. I would try out this system first, and see how well it handles your tasks. Then see if you need it, there is room in your budget and with your power supply for one.

I have no idea how the H100i water cooler works, but I just added that.

At the low end of your budget, I think this is pretty much the best you can do.

Yes water is the way to go Frozen cpu has many choices there are sealed systems you just install or you can build one it is your choice also corsair has a sealed cpu cooler http://www.corsair.com/en-us/cpu-coolers go here and see if you see something you like the bigger the radiator the better the azza case I showed you will take a large radiator up to 360mm water cooling radiator it is built to install one with lots of big fans and not to noisey the motherboard is great and the tower is for cool cool look around check prices this is all good stuff.

Just for information purposes I am an overclocker so I set my system to defeat heat and take voltage so you can push more power if you want also it protects your cpu to run as cool as you can my system runs at -48 degrees celsius my clock with my i7-4960x is 5.31GHz it is very fun to build computers so give yourself some room to play later if you chose so I recommend the best for cooling have fun
