Would you go back to Windows if it was free or cost less? Why?

none of the above:

i will continue to use windows and not switch to linux.

while i do agree that windows have many flaws and that i do not like the route they are going with some features i still consider it a better platform for pc (for myself) than linux. i've tried ubuntu out in the past and i was not impressed one bit despite the price.

Your question carries a presupposition the we've abandoned Windows.
I will continue to use the appropriate OS for the appropriate use.

Linux for some things, Windows (at its current price point) for others.
