Yes, it is compatible. One of the biggest things I would change is the motherboard to a Gigabyte or Asus as MSI have been known to have a few problems with their FX AM3+ boards. For a FX processor it would be ideal to have a VRM heatsink (something attached to them squares to the left of the CPU socket). I would also consider upping the RAM to 8GB though that can be difficult with a strict budget :)

RAM: Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model BLS8G3D1609DS1S00

Changed out the GPU, Motherboard, and RAM.
