I have a eyefinity 1920x1080 x3 setup but lately I been admiring the huge Imac display and I wish to get a gaming monitor like one of those and sell my old monitors as I feel eyefinity is not worth it because of some ill support on some games with hud, it's a bit demanding because of such huge resolution (Higher than 4K) and the side monitor are stretch. Yes I know it's for perhirpal vision but what's the point of adding two 1920x1080 if it doesn't extend rather stretch out things... (I actually look at my side monitors)
As such I been looking around the forums and I want to try out a 120 Hz Display because want to see more realistic movement and better for multiplayer games. (PLUS 3D!!!)
I want to try out a IPS as said by Monitor Experts that Ips is the best quality,high colour reproduction and that is great for movies, though some say that not best for gaming because of motion rate.
I want to try out Ultrawide or 21:9, has said been for movies and I actually like a wider ascept ratio for gaming.
I want try out 30 Inch+ because I want a big screen that's not a tv.
And 2560x1600 for high resolution graphical goodness...
Plus Gloss, a lot of my displays I been though have been matte. I like gloss more Matte, I liked on my Xbox, I like it on my tv frame (though the actual screen not gloss), I like it on my surface pro, I like it everywhere. Gloss provides a shine to gaming, I know that might interfere (but idc) However not much monitors have gloss and for gloss I want, it be like the Imac screen and it have tempered glass over it.
Probs impossible, but under 800 AUD or 700 USD would be nice, I don't mind if Korean...
Granted I lose multiple windows but I probably going to use oculus rift in the future anyways. I know I am asking a lot for a monitor that is probably unlikely. But if you help find this, I be praising your godly name (or username). My theory is that Korean monitors most likely have these as big brand do not have 120hz that is ultrawide and gloss.
So does any monitors come in mind? That has 120hz refresh rate, 30+, Ultrawide 21:9 Ratio, Glossy Tempered Glass? With a IPS 2560x1600 Resolution? Probs impossible but even anything close will be nice.
Some things are possible, the MX2900Q exists and it has ultrawide, 21:9 and a 144hz refresh rate.
