Is it like that, that a higher and better GPU will give a better graphics?

Is it like that, that a higher and better GPU will give a better graphics? Or it is just the fps that increases?

Suppose in this case I compare Nvidia GTX 660 and GTX 760. Ofcourse GTX 760 is better than GTX 660. So obviously it will render higher fps than GTX 660, but will it also render better graphics than GTX 660? By graphics, I mean the textures, Anti-Aliasing, and the overall graphics.
If possible explain me in detail about the case.

Yes...? Your fps in games is directly reliant on your gpus ability to process textures and your CPUs ability to process data. So if the fps is higher in card one vs the other, then card one processes better textures. So when using the same CPU, the 760 will be able to process more textures, so therefore it will give a higher fps on the same settings as the 660.
