Hi, I currently own a asus 24 inch 1920x1080 monitor and I'm looking to get a second one. I found an acer 19.5 inch monitor with a resolution of 1600x900 on Craigslist for $40. I looked up reviews of this monitor and people liked it. My question is would the different resolutions look bad and be very noticeable? I would only be web browsing, watching some movies, and using spotify on the second monitor while game and do more intensive programs on the 1080 display monitor. Any help is appreciated. Thanks !

I have almost an identical setup.
23" 1080p and 21" 1600x900.

The only thing that is off is the cursor changing on the monitors, it "jumps" up when you go to the smaller monitor, because in the PCs eyes the tops of the monitors are lined up. Resolution wise you will have no issues. Videos look good, and browsing is fine.
Also if you are like me and want two separate wallpapers you will need 3rd party software.

Thanks for your help. I expect some issues because they are different resolutions/size/brands but I just don't want it to be a huge annoyance I will regret later.
