Good 144hz or 120hz monitor

Trying to figure out what monitor I should upgrade to not sure if 144hz is that much better then 120 but so far ive been looking at these 2, not sure if asus or benq is better, if anyone has any other suggestions for under $300 that'd be great.

i mostly want to use this for gaming and watching movies, currently have a gtx 760
are there any other options in the price range? also is the asus like a crushing victory over the benq? Ive never owned a benq so i know nothing about them

but if you talk about ASUS VG248QE. nothing beat it

alright ill probably go with that then if you dont have any other suggestions? I dont feel the need for 1440p as im less then an arms reach away and besides gaming im just watching anime and theres not even true 1080p of that yet.

According to this review, they are pretty much the same monitors (same TN panel and same stand). Features are pretty much the same (just diff named) but the ASUS costs hundreds less. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LXjw6Dul66U I personally own the ASUS and love it. Would I pay a few hundred more for the same monitor with a different name? No.

Didnt know that thanks I probably will go with the asus on amazon the benq was only like $30 so i didnt know I just read that asus is cheaper in the US and benq is cheaper in the UK so idk maybe its something like that, mostly wanted a new monitor after I started playing csgo competitive
