Hey, I'm working on my first build. I know the basics, but I'm not 100% sure what I need for what I want to do, and what would bottleneck it, and stuff like that.
Along with the average daily use, I mainly want a machine that will play 1080p movies, stream at least 720p with no problems, run minecraft at 60fps smoothly, and also play playstation emulators along with other old systems.
I also may consider fully gaming on my pc and getting rid of my xbox one, so although I am sure if it can do everything above, it will play most games in at least low graphics, I would like to run games in mid or high at 40-60fps.
Here is my build so far:
-Asus Z97-a mobo
-intel i5-4590
-EVGA geforce gtx 750ti superclock
-Kingston HyperX Fury 2x4G 1600 ddr3
-500w psu
-wd 1tb hdd (may eventually get a ssd for os)
Please let me know what you think about the build, if anything is obviously too powerful/weak for the rest, or if there are better options.
