Best Gaming monitor for my money?

Looking to buy a new monitor for a Dual screen setup(currently using HP 2011x) after my T.V I was using refused to live for too long.
I need something between 23-27 in. that has rich colors. Few ideas of monitors I am looking at are as follows.

Its big and sounds like it has an ok picture.

A smaller monitor but it seems more crisp(seen in person at a bestbuy).

I am running these on a msi gtx760/TF so at least some of the ports need to match up so I don't have to buy converter cables. I believe it is dual link dvi but the two dvi ports don't look similar.

I need as much recommendations from fellow gamer's as possible, help aid me in this quest!

That acer one looks hella nice, comes with plenty of cables as well. I was looking at that one earlier, glossy finish could be hit or miss as I hear. Does the standard dvi cable(white) work with dvi-d dual link?

Now the other question is, will a sharper screen be better than perhaps more screen space. I guess that's more of my choice but it cant help to have some opinions in here.
