Need help with these two offers on workstation

Friends - I have the following offers to choose one from them. Please help me to do that.

1. HP Z800 with dual xeon x5570 quad core, 12gb RAM and 600GB HDD for 600 bucks
2. Dell Precision T7500 with xeon x5650 hexa core, 24gb RAM and 1TB HDD for 729 bucks

Without knowing what you are using them for its impossible to make an informed opinion

....but in general , I'd avoid dual cpu motherboards and computers so I would pick the second one

Thanks for the reply. I would use the machine basically data analysis. I would use large let of dataset to build statistical modeling. Won't be doing graphics intensive activities and no games. Please share if you have got any other solution.
