Hello, a long time fan of this site here, first time poster.
I just finished my new build, but I am having trouble with the computer doing a blue screen after sitting idle for 10 - 20mins. Everything pretty much idles around mid 30*c.
Windows and all hardware are up to date.

This is my second PC I have built from scratch, but the other was years ago, and I'm a bit stumped on what is causing this problem

I at first had the cpu overclocked to 4.6ghz, but I noticed really high temps (as high as 100*c) during benchmark tests with AIDA64 Extreme. The spikes would last about a second and then drop by about 30*c-40*c, so I don't know if it was reading correctly or not. So I dropped the OC down to 4.4ghz.

3D mark 11 kept crashing today after trying to use the MSI app to OC the card, changed it back to normal clocks and it ran fine. Scored anywhere from 8999 - 9039 depending on CPU oc. A side question, but does that score look pretty typical based on my hardware?

Thank you for the suggestions.

That error code indicates a "fatal hardware error" according to Microsoft. Scan your system event log to find entries marked "Error" in red so find the specifics. Also be sure you have the correct drivers.

Good luck.

I have tried updating drivers and reverting back to old drivers, bios is up to date as well. I've repaired the boot.ini file.
I think I'm going to try a fresh install of Windows 7, if this does not work I will likely RMA the video card unless there is any other suggestions?

Also what would be the best way to format both hard drives the SSD and HDD, and install windows 7 on the SSD? It was suggested to me by a friend that I should only have one hard drive plugged up while Windows is installing, the first time around I had both.
