Hey so I am a very new builder and I have been doing a ton of research on good parts for a build. I am hoping to play games like; Minecraft, DayZ and Rust on it's highest settings. This is the build that I have. Please help me out:)

CPU AMD FX-8350 4.0GHz 8-Core $159.99
CPU Cooler Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing $29.98
Motherboard Asus M5A97 LE R2.0 ATX AM3+ $69.99
Memory G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Combo or $82.99
Storage Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM $49.99
Video Card MSI Radeon R9 280 3GB TWIN FROZR Combo or $219.99
Case Cooler Master HAF 912 ATX Mid Tower $49.99
Power Supply EVGA 600W ATX12V / EPS12V $39.99
Optical Drive Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer $19.98
Operating System Microsoft Windows 8.1 (OEM) (64-bit) $89.98

The i5 outperforms the fx 8350 in gaming.

Stock vs stock settings, the i5 would outperform the 8350 in single threaded applications like gaming.

RAM, go with whatever's cheaper. Minimum is usually CAS9 1600 Mhz ram.

The r9 270x is a good card, you could lower the price by going with a sapphire r9 270 dual x if you want, they're practically the same card just different clocks and different power consumption levels.

Feel free to change the case if you would like.

WD hard drives are more reliable than seagate ones usually.

dvd/cd drive just go with a cheap one.
