Hi,

So over the few weeks I've had a strict budget of £250 to get myself some new computer parts. I've now found out I can increase my budget to £400 :)

I need:

New CPU (Preferably AMD - I just prefer it over Intel)
Decent Motherboard
8GB of RAM
New PSU Possibly

Note: I want to get a new case, the Bitfenix Shinobi as well.

My current specs:

AMD Athlon x4 760k
MSI A78M-E35
4GB Corsair Value RAM
MSI R9 270 2GB
500w EVGA 80+ Non-Modular PSU
Zalman Z3 Plus Mid-Tower Case

ok, i went with intel because there is no reason to stay with AMD with your budget. intel is just simply faster at this price point. so, i got the i5 4690k, a good cpu cooler, a good mobo, for the ram, get an identical stick to what you have, not what i posted, and i also put in a new psu, to get ready for a gpu upgrade in the future.

Problem is the RAM I have is horrible, stuck at 1333Mhz and it's actually pretty hard to find it in 1333mhz now.

So I decided to go with:

CPU: AMD FX 8350
Cooler: Hyper 212 Evo
Motherboard Asus Sabertooth 990FX R2.0
Corsair Builder Series 600w Modular PSU (Recommendations welcome)
HyperX Fury 2X4GB 1866Mhz (Would I be better with 2133Mhz?)

I'm going to leave the case for about a month or so then re-install everything.

I go with Amazon because I have prime, it makes everything easier than me going through each vendor, and sometimes have to pay extra for delivery. Take Scan for example. They add £5-10 per item for delivery.
