r7 250 2 way crossfire or single r7 260

I want to know what is best, the r7 250 in a two way crossfire configuration or a single r7 260. I'm saying this because two r7 250's have the same cores as a single r7 260 but is it worth getting two r7 250's

In terms of performance, I have no reliable data on cross-firing 250 cards. Personally, I think its a bad idea considering the low-end processing power of r7 250 card. I would say only put up with the issue with crossfire if you can definitely get "more bang for buck" which is difficult to determine in this case. I always say that crossfire comes into play after $200 at least, or the issues with it, will not be worth the minimal gain.

wouldn't you get more performance from just 1 r9 270x and the price would be about the same.
