so i while back i had purchased a brand new asus A88x-pro, and when i set everything up and put in my graphics card (HIS Saphire Radeon 6670). When i started it up i herd a tick and a burning smell came so i turn it off and i found out that the motherboard and graphics card were burnt but everything else was fine, i sent the parts back and got new ones, what should i do? should i try again?

I'm afraid it sounds like one of the connectors from your power supply was not plugged in correctly, possibly the PCIe or eps connector. Nothing you can do but buy new parts, sorry :(
