Hi,

Im looking for an IPS monitor for my uni studies (studying graphic design) so I need one which the colour/image quality is brilliant. Also I'm leaning towards a 27" just for the additional workspace. I'll be using a macbook pro retina 15" with the GT 750M card.

I have a budget of around £150-200 give or take 10%.

Ive been looking on ebuyer and I have seen the LG 27MP65HQ-P but not seen much about the image quality for designers so not sure if theres any better.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers
Phil

Thanks for the suggestion, I had a quick google search for results and this site (http://www.digitaltrends.com/monitor-reviews/samsung-s2...!bk3u9N) is saying that the image quality is jaggered when looking at small texts or fine details, not sure how accurate they are though. Also been reading that at the resolution 1080p a 24" might be better, is that right?

depends on what you like, size is personal, I prefer 27". people will always find something wrong with a monitor, and I saw two of those at a mates house about two weeks ago, fine detail was not an issue for me, not jaggered.

Brilliant, thank you for the help. Can I ask what you or your mate use the monitors for? AKA, is it for design work?

Thanks for your help, I think for the time being I'm going to leave it and save up more and get something with a better resolution like this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Acer-B296CLBMIIDPRZ-inch-Monito... (also has more usb ports which I need considering the macbook pro only has two)
