Dear friends,
I want your expert opinion for building my new pc as i am not sure that my decission regarding building my new pc is correct and hence want suggestion about it.

The Following should help you understand my needs more.

Q1 What is your Budget?
A INR 55,000-60,000 which translates roughly 915-1000$

Q2 Can you Stretch/Extend your Budget?
A No.This is an already "stretched out" budget.

Q3 What purpose do you seek out of the rig?
A Hardcore Gaming

Q4 What all components do you need?
A CPU, GPU/Graphics Card, PSU, Motherboard, RAM, Cabinet, Hard Drive & a Cooler Fan if necessary.

Q5 Have you ever assembled before?
A No. This is my first and i am a totalnewbie.

Q6 Do you plan to Overclock?
A No

Q7 Do you need an AMD or Nvidia or any other Built?
A Preferrably Nvidia.

Q9 Any other thing you would like to say?
A Yes.Please quote the prices from Indian Online Retailer and not from newegg or amazon.com since i won't be importing. Also, Don't suggest components which are not available in India. However, you can enlist those which are going to launch in India in 3-4 months of timespan.
Thanks in advance !

Location: Kolkata, West Bengal, India
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Flipkart.com, theitdepot.com

My new pc is required entirely for gaming purpose and hence i decided to go for :

1)Processor: Intel 3.4 GHz LGA 1150 4670K i5 4th Generation Processor (Rs 17600)
2)Video Card: ZOTAC GeForce GTX 660 2GB GDDR5 Video Card (Rs. 12,400)
3)Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-B85-D3H Motherboard (Rs 5617)
4)Memory: G.Skill RipjawsX 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory (Rs. 6,375)
5)Storage: WD 2 TB Black Desktop Internal Hard Drive (WD2002FAEX) (Rs. 11999)
6)Case: Bitfenix Merc Alpha USB 3.0 Variant ATX Mid Tower Computer Case /Bitfenix Outlaw APAC Edition ATX Mid Tower Computer Case (Rs 3470 / Rs 4105)
7)Fan: Cooler Master Hyper TX3 EVO Cooler (Rs 2299)
8)Power Supply: Corsair CS650M 650 Watts PSU (Rs. 6514)
9)Optical Drive: LG GH24NS95/GH24NSB0 DVD/CD Writter (Rs 948)
Total: 67752 INR

However the price will come down to 64500 since half of the components are overpriced on flipkart..... So if you guys have any better ideas about this budget or if u think that i am spending to much on a particular thing which is not necessarry and neglecting something which is important please help me out with it !

the 660 isnt going to allow for "hardcore" gaming at 1080p, at least not for many games. Its more of a mid range card. If you play at 720p it should be fine, but otherwise i would get cheaper components to afford a better GPU. that might mean ditching the cooler for now (overclock later on), getting a cheaper case, forget the DVD drive, who needs it? and get a single TB drive if its cheaper.

thank you for your concern but the Seagate hardware and service both are pathetic in India nowadays which gives a warranty period of only 1 year but as for the Western Digital their hardware and service are much better than Seagate and moreover they provide a warranty period of 5 yrs....

Here you go. I don't know how to get the permalink for the build so I guess I will just list all the parts.
1.) Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 Motherboard (4156)
2.) Cooler Master K281 Mid Tower Cabinet (3521)
3.) AMD 3.5 AM3+ FX 6-Core Edition FX-6300 (7590)
4.) LG GH24NS95/GH24NSB0 DVD Burner (948)
5.) Seasonic S12II 620 Watts PSU (5750)
6.) G.Skill Sniper DDR3 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) PC RAM (6375)
7.) Seagate Barracuda 1 TB Desktop Internal Hard (3699)
8.) SanDisk SSD 128 GB Laptop Internal Hard Drive (4389)
9.) Sapphire AMD/ATI R9 280 Overclock Edition 3 GB (20649)
Total: Rs. 57077

You might have to overclock the CPU a little so you would have to get a cheap cooler. But this should get you some very good gaming.

then get a wd blue cost u half than black ....black is better performer than blue but there is no meaning to compromise the gpu for a storage..... and by the way its 2yr for segate and 3 yrs for wd....

As Beezy is suggesting to get a better GPU, so i am buying the i5-4670 (non-K) it is the same speed, but cannot overclock and so is a little bit cheaper and also buying a PSU i.e. Seasonic S12II 620 Watts which is cheaper compared to the Corsair CS650M 650 Watts PSU . By doing that i am saving
4000 rupees more by which i can buy a better graphics card than ZOTAC GeForce GTX 660 2GB GDDR5 Video Card ....... So what GPU are you all suggesting ??

a 270x or 280x + for AMD, or a GTX 770 for nvidida +

Thank you for your concern friend. I like the processor which you suggested but i read that AMD processor has issues of overheating.... will it affect my rig in any way ? Will a weak processor as compared to Intel 3.4 GHz LGA 1150 4670K i5 4th Generation Processor will have issues in gaming ?? Is longibility of the AMD good as compared to Intel ???

Since i would not overclock and risk my pc i think i would not need Sapphire AMD/ATI R9 280 Overclock Edition.... So what is your opinion ?

Why would I need a SanDisk SSD 128 GB Laptop Internal Hard Drive ?

segate barracuda and wd blue are more or less same so get which is less costly....i have 1 tb segate and 1 tb wd blue and i dont see any difference between them...

SSD stands for solid state drive. It is a new technology that replaces hard drives. They have much much faster write and read times, as well as a list of other ways they can greatly speed up certain functions of your computer. It will give you very fast boot times and programs open/close times. So basic use of the computer will become greatly faster. However it doesn't really do anything for game performance. So if those things aren't important to you, use the cost of the SSD towards a better CPU or GPU.
