Which is faster for SSD, mini PCI-e or mSATA?

I keep reading differing opinions. Some say there's no difference. Others say mini PCI-e is faster.

I have a InWin 901 case with a EVGA Stinger MB. And I'd like to RAID-5 the 4 SATA ports I have and put an SSD in the mini PCI-e slot to run the OS.

But which is faster? mini PCI-e or mSATA? I don't really care about storage capacity since it'll mainly just be running my OS. But if there is no difference, mSATA seems to offer more capacity for the same dollar.

msata only supports sata2 (3gb/s) speeds so with the right SSD the mini pci-e would be faster though you may only notice a difference in benchmarks or the loading of very large files.
