I am stuck between buying these 2 video cards. I can find the 7990 cheaper than the 780ti and according to websites the 7990 is better than the 780ti. What do you guys think? And for what reason? I think my top graphically intense game would be battlefield 4, maybe one of the Crysis games. Which card is better?

Thanks in advance.

7990 is thought to be 9 percent faster than 780 ti. It's not a big enough gap to go with the crossfire configuration. 780ti would has better thermal, power consumption, and smaller physically smaller.

The 7990 is a dual GPU card, with that there are some issues of screen lag and picture tearing. Few games don't support Crossfire.

780ti runs smoother and cooler than the 7990. Being a single GPU card, there is less power consumption.

Nvidia usually has better drivers as well, better support.
All this coming from someone using AMD :p

Between those two, you'll be better with the GTX 780 Ti.

The Radeon HD 7990 is a dual GPU and multi GPU configurations usually have some image problems (both with AMD and nVidia).

And if the driver don't have a crossfire profile for a game, it will only use one GPU and you'll experience a lack of performance.
