Hello, i am looking to purchase a mechanical keyboard and have come to a choice to make between two switches...red or brown? I have heard that the red is tactile and the brown is slightly less, so in terms of gaming, which is something that I am going to be using this keyboard for, is better with the red. However for typing, I've heard that the little bump on the brown is satisfying to press and is greater for typing, I guess my question is, 'Will I notice a better gaming experience with the blue switches' and is it worth going for those over the brown. Will it be noticeable...
Thanks again, Adam :)

i'd go for brown, it was my plan before i bought this keyboard (end mech keyboard), i used to have blue, fun but too noisy (wife hears it while she sleeps)
i got red now, and while its ok, it is too soft and i think brown is better. sometime i have like an object, a light object on top of the keyboard and it will push some keys, that is how soft they are. i also sometimes tend to push the windows key by accident, not good for gaming when that happens.

so, my advise, go for brown. i have a ducky by the way, nothing fancy (except for the light), no odd shape or gaming design, but build is top notch

I have a Razer Blackwidow 2013 with Cherry MX Blues. The browns are, as far as I know, blues without the loud click. If you live with anyone and want to game later on in the night, I would suggest browns

yes, blue's are nice, but only if you live alone (or don't share a room with anyone)
