Sapphire Radeon R9 290X or MSI Radeon R9 290X?

I'm trying to buy one of these graphic cards but the real thing that's bugging me is the question "Which runs cooler and Faster if there's a difference?"

Neither. Both are the reference cooler. I would go with third party coolers W/ multiple fans and stay away from the blower style because it runs at 95C (which can't be good for the chip) and is very loud.

They are identically bad, don't buy reference 290X, for another 20 or 30 bucks you can get a much better deal with custom coolers.

I cannot find any with custom coolers that's the problem, do you recommend a better cooled graphics card that is near the price range that these cards are? (Roughly £280 to £310)

Here are some I found with aftermarket cooling, rather than reference:

Both offer better cooling options, the gigabyte slightly better however it's about 20 bucks more. The MSI is also a shorter GPU, (and better looking in my opinion) which allows for more compatibility with cases.
