Hello,

New to building computers and wanted to build my first for gaming. I've used PCpartpicker and this is what I've got. If anyone has the time to help it'd be awesome. I have a couple questions:
Do I need to worry about overheating? I wont be overclocking
Can I change any parts to save some money without decreasing performance to much? 1200-1300 my max budget
Am I missing anything?

Here's ma list:
Intel Core i7-4770K 3.5GHz Quad-Core ----CPU
MSI Z97-G55 SLI ATX LGA1150 ---- Motherboard
Corsair Vengeance Red 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1866 MHz (PC3 15000) ----Memory
Toshiba 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM -----Storage
MSI GeForce GTX 770 2GB TWIN FROZR ------Video Card
EVGA 750W ATX12V / EPS12V ----Power supply
Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer -----Optical Drive
Thermaltake Chaser A31 Snow White ATX Mid Tower ----Case

Thanks guys/gals for any help!

If you don't intend to use Photoshop, edit videos, steam video content etc. then you'd be fine with an Intel i5 4690K. You could get 1TB HDD if you don't intend to do anything that eats up space and maybe get a better GPU if you can afford it.

Awesome thanks you two, I'm taking both of your suggestions and tweaking it, hopefully I'll have it built in a couple weeks.

TomSkini, if you don`t mind, I used your build to add an R9 290 in there.

The price difference is not that big and still within the budget, and the GPU is better and it will take longer until it needs any sort of upgrade:
