Questions about the Asus Maximus VII hero and other related boards

Hello guys, I've been compiling a list of parts for a future gaming build, and I've been looking at the Asus VII hero board a lot. One thing I've noticed, is that there seems to be a "frozen clock" issue, that some people are experiencing. That only slightly turns me off from this board, and by the time I have the money to actually purchase my parts, my choices might be different anyway. Until then, this board has my attention, and I'd like to know if there's a fix for that. I'd also like to know, if this issue stretches across to other Asus boards.

Until there is a BIOS update to fix this, not really.
