Rendering in GT 755M SLI vs GTX 860M

Hey everyone, i'm starting college in the fall, i'll be doing some coding, animation, 3d modelling, utilizing the adobe cc, blender, etc. I'd also like to do some gaming, nothing intense, I've been looking at the
Lenovo Y510p and Y50, cause they seem like pretty good deals. I'll be carrying it around with me alot so i was wondering which would be better at rendering faster and which would be more suitable for me. Please take into consideration, size, heat output, battery life, performance, portability, display quality and overall build in no particular order

Everyone seems to be comparing these two laptops. Although performance wise they will be the same, the 860m will give you a longer battery life, produce less heat, weigh less, and consume less electricity.
