Building a gaming pc and I don't know what mobo to buy, I think I should get a z97. I'm sure there are better choices for my other parts aswell and I would like help optimizing my build without spending too much more money. If you see anything that can be improved upon even if it is a little more expensive please tell me and definitely tell me if there is a comparable part that is cheaper lol.

How much of a performance difference would there be by switching the storage when doing things other then gaming? Is there any reason to buy a more expensive mobo then that one performance wise? Do you think I could get a lower wattage psu to save a little more money? I'll switch the cooler as you suggested. I have about a 2500 budget but spending less is always a good thing. Thanks for your quick reply. My last pc was hit by lightning so I'm on my ps4 and responding really slow, sorry.
