Gaming PC First Build (Need a Check)

Hi i'm doing my first pc build and I was wondering if I have all the right parts and if there are improvements that I can make. Also do I need to buy a sata cable?

CPU: AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-Core Processor
Memory: kingston 8gb 2x4 hyper x fury
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Video card: XFX Radeon R7 240
Optical Drive: Asus DRW-24B1ST 24X Internal DVD Burner
software: Windows 8.1 64 bit
Flash Media reader: ULTRA 3.5" Internal Media Card Reader & Writer - 5 Slots, SDHC / USB,
Fan: Cooler Master R4-L2R-20AC-GP Case Fan - 120mm
Fan controller: NZXT Sentry II Full System Fan Controller

Looks fine, not a fan of the CX series of PSUs, but overall power draw will be slim so it will probably be fine
