I'm building my first computer and I noticed you can either put the fan up or down on a power supply.. What do you guys/girls suggest?
It's an intake fan used to help cool the PSU, which then blows the air out the back. So, it depends on where you'll be putting the computer.
If on a clean, smooth surface: Face it out of the case. It'll draw fresh air in, as opposed to sucking in warm case air.
If carpet: Face it into the case. You don't want your PSU trying to breath in fresh air through carpet.
My suggestions are made assuming the PSU will be bottom mounted. If that's not the case, let us know!
