Does this look like a decent monitor for a small gaming system?

So I need a new monitor as my 19" HDTV can't even display the Bios :/

I'm on a budget of £120 so I picked out this, how does it look?

Looks great. The cheaper 21.5 would be fine, and would possibly suit you better depending on how far from the monitor you sit, and all. The 2ms response rate, the good contrast ratio, and sleek bevels (good for later EyeFinity add-ons), at that price, earn it an okay from this guy.

I sit about 2ft from my monitor when gaming, but I also use it as a TV in which I usually sit about 3-4ft away

Ah, then yeah, 24 would be optimal. It'll just take a night to get used to the extra 5 inches, haha.

The 2ms response great is great but in my opinion you will not notice a difference between 2ms and 5ms response time for gaming.

Either one will serve you okay. I myself had bad experiences with asus monitors and always had them delivered to me with a dead pixel or two. I would personally go with the BenQ.
