I was thinking about getting this display for my custom rig.
http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-UN32H6350-32-Inch-1080p-120Hz/dp/B00I94IRC2

I want a display big enough where i can game on it from a distance (with a controller) but small enough where i can use it up close too.

I want a display
that has high quality (preferably a Samsung)
that has a high refresh rate (120hz or above)
big enough but not too big

(I have a flat screen monitor that came with my old XPS 400 from 2005 that i can use for normal web browsing and things that don't require HD.)

Well it all depends on your budget! Hell, go for a 4k if you have the money (actually dont, barely any games support that res) this is what I would recommend:http://www.samsung.com/levant/consumer/computers-peripherals/monitors/led-monitor/LS27D390HS/ZN it is 27" which is more than enough, trust me on that I have a 17" laptop and I can see it perfectly from far away! I think it's a good choice for what your looking for!

So it is...my apologies! I will do some more searching for you my friend but, it is hard to find that refresh rate in that size!

Both are excellent companies, now..it comes down to your needs, if your gaming, go for BenQ because that is what is designed for and has mode for it, if you are doing: photo editing, video editing, modeling, work etc etc, go samsung because that is what it's meant for, honestly you can't go wrong either way, do what YOU think is best!

Thank you, i'm not a hard core gamer and i will be gaming from a distance, not at the desk. It's just going to be a high end PC that will be used as an everyday PC that will have the GTX 880 when it comes out but i will be gaming occasionally.
