As the title says this is my first time building a PC. This will be used for After Effects and video editing plus some gaming on the side ;)

I've done some research and I think everything will be ok when I build it. Is there anything that looks like it would be an issue, or could be replaced with a cheaper alternative?

Here are the parts

Intel Core i7-3770K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor
ASRock Z77 Extreme4 ATX LGA1155 Motherboard
Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 770 4GB WINDFORCE Video Card
Fractal Design Define R4 w/Window (Black Pearl) ATX Mid Tower Case
EVGA 750W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply

Thanks a million!

It's using a CPU and motherboard that are a couple generations old. Going with current components actually saves a little money. Here's your build with the latest generation of CPU and motherboard chipset.

I used the difference in cost to add an SSD.
