Which motherboards support overclocking for the Intel Pentium G3258?

I know all of ASUS's board support overclocking, but what about other manufacturers (ASRock, Gigabyte, MSI)?

The non-Z87/97 boards will have a recent BIOS update if they are OC'ing aware now. My GA-H81M-H just released a BIOS update entitled "Improve Intel K-sku CPU performance" dated 2014/07/11. That would be the best way to be sure. Find a board you like and check the BIOS updates for it. But I believe it has to be an H81. I don't know if boards like the B85 have that.
Here's some reading: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/pentium-g3258-b81-cheap-overclocking,3888.html
The board listed (MSI) is one you can check out for sure.

So, "Improve Intel K-sku CPU performance" means that you can OC with G3258,or is it something else?

That's what I take it as, yes. Check the BIOS date. It should be AFTER the G3258 was released. Since this BIOS "fix" isn't actually supported by Intel, I imagine the wording of the update's description has to be somewhat vague. Get the board described in the Tom's Hrdw article if you are in doubt.

2014/07/09 is BIOS Date. When was G3258 released? I can't seem to find the date.

So that means I can? I have GA-H81M-DS2, a H81 Chipset. I have Wattage, I have a Cooler, so could i do it?

I see no reason why not. As long as you update to the latest BIOS. Or do you know the board already has the latest BIOS? If you have the board now, you must have a processor already in it, yes?

No, I have the Revison 1.0, which has the old BIOS. And I'll buy the G3258 soon, since I have a G3220, which is similar, but weaker, and not much different at the price.

As long as you update the BIOS before you try to use the G3258, you should be fine. It doesn't matter what revision the motherboard is, as long as you be sure to get the correct BIOS... i.e. the one for whatever revision your board is.
