Monitor question for 2 GTX580s

I'm using 2 GTX580s for my first build, and I'm wondering what kind of monitor I should be looking for for the best performance with these cards. Any suggestions would be great!

Also...I want to use a single monitor. Does it need to have any special features to work with a 2-way SLI?

2 way sli works from 3 monitors all the way to 1 just fine, just plug the monitor into the master graphics card.
