Evening all. I'm building a PC for rendering (and possibly casual gaming)
It's my first build, but I'm relatively tech savvy. I was hoping for some input from some people who know what they're talking about.

Intel Core i7-4790K 4GHz
MSI NVidia GTX770 4GD5/OC Gaming 4GB
Antec HCP-1000 Current Pro 1000W
Samsung 840EVO 250GB SSD
Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz DDR3 (2x8GB)
Cooler Master Silencio 652S

I'm actually slightly over budget (aiming for around 1600USD/1000GBP), and was wondering if there are any bottlenecks/overkill parts of the build. I know I need to get extra fans and the like but I'm hoping they won't cost too much extra. Would appreciate any recommendations for extra bits.

Regards,
R

Thanks. That's what I initially thought! But then did it for future proofing? Also read that operating at 60% of Power Supply Wattage is ideal..

Will definitely consider downgrading!

That build will probably only use around 500-550w so you'd be under 60%. If you're planning on SLI down the track feel free to keep it. But at the moment it's a waste of money :)
