Hi Guys,

Whenever I play games like Starcraft 2, Bioshock infinite etc I get tearing. On games like LoL and Path of Exile there is absolutely nothing wrong. I enabled vsync in game and in the ccc and enabled triple buffering, it did nothing. All games are running at 60fps with vsync enabled so its not like it is exceeding the fps/hz of the monitor. The only time screen tearing does not occur in games like SC 2 is when I reduce all clock settings in ccc so the games run at 20 fps or lower.

More info.
I am runing this on a vga cable and not hdmi
4gb gaming ram
amd fx 6300 3.5ghz
win 7 ult 64-bit
g-card temp: 55 - 60 C (in game)
GPU: 955MHz
Memory: 1400MHz
I am also running both my pc and screen on a 600watt, 1000Va ups, my power-supply is a 650watt, I tested without the ups but still the same problem

Any help will be much appreciated .
Regards.

Oh. I think I know the problem! Back when I was using analog VGA, of the cable was damaged somewhere and that would cause artifacting. Make sure none of the pins are bent on the VGA cable. Consider buying a dvi cable, actually improves image quality!
