Windows 9 is coming out, soon Windows 8 will be a thing of the history therefore all these devices make no sense.

Why would MSI bring a worthless device like this to market when they have not brought out the most recent AMD tablet CPU? This will me MSIs first Intel based tablet for good reason, Intel Atom CPUs suck.

You obviously haven't used the new Bay Trail Atoms or Celerons. If you had you would know that these CPUs are miles ahead of what these CPU lines used to be. The J series Celerons are the first since Socket 370 that are actually good. The Z3740/D Atom and the J1800 are perfect for day to day tasks like browsing the Web, Movies and TV or even some lite gaming (hearthstone runs well on the Atom Z3740/D and Civ5 will even run on it decently). The only real issues these CPUs have is heat throttling because of the tiny copper sheet or tiny heat-sink for cooling in Windows 8 Tablets, Nettops or Small PCs.

Looks quite promising outside the screen.
1280x800 is simply too low a resolution for a 10.1" device...

1366x768 would be right as rain though, and you know they have more than enough of those panels.
