Hello, I just need a little help please. I wanna know if my motherboard ASRock FM2A55M-DGS is compatible with this video card Radeon R7 260X Sapphire 2GB OC Edition or with this one GeForce GTX 750 Gainward 1GB Edition and which one I should buy? I did a little research and I saw the sapphire one is kinda better than the gtx 750 but please let me know your opinions. Thanks !

Oh yeah also my pc hardwares are

Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
AMD Athlon X4 750K Black Edition
4,00GB Single-Channel DDR3 @ 665MHz
465GB TOSHIBA DT01ACA050 ATA Device
550W power source.

The overclocked 260 will be a better choice for faster bandwidth than the 750.

Thanks for your answers but are they compatible? Also they are pci 3.0 and my motherboard supports only 2.0.

pci -e 3.0 is backwards compatible with 2.0 and 1.0. 1.0 will bottleneck, the 2.0 really wont since we havent really used fully maxed it out. They are compatible the powersupply i hope is up to spec(post which brand and type).

The r9 270 is worth it for its price point. its a 760 without the high price tag. it wants you to put the gpu in the pci e 3.0 port but all pci-e ports are compatible so a pci-e 1.0- card would work in 2.0/3.0 slot. It will work with your mobo aslong as it says it has a pci-e 1.0/2.0/3.0 prot.
