my car runs hot was told i have cracked heads but car still runs

My car runs hot. Was told I need heads. But car still runs well. Don't know where water is going. Would it be cheaper to buy another motor or fix heads?

ok,first off,make model,engine? who exactly told you you had cracked heads? if there is no visible coolant leak then its likely either going out the tailpipe,in which case you should see a white smokey discharge,or its going into the oil.post your cars specs and it will make it easier to help you.
