Best CPU for strictly Adobe Premiere CC

Hey everyone!

I'm having trouble figuring out if I should get AMD or an i7 for adobe Premiere. I would love to keep the processor under $400. Any tips would be helpful!

It seems like the AMD FX-9590 should be faster, but the forums seem to point towards an i7 instead. Is there a reason why 8 cores wouldn't do a better job at rendering?

i7 by far the amd may have 8 cores but the i7 has 8 treades and plus the i7 blows amd outa the water anyday their just faster in ever way

like the 9590 is at 5ghz and it cant even beat a 3.5ghz i7

ni if you overclocked an i7 to 5ghz the amd wouldt have a change
